Chef Kory Foltz has been in the foodservice industry for over 23 years, 13 of which has been with Hyatt Hotels. Prior to accepting the position as Executive Chef at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa, he has past work experience at Hyatt Regency Sarasota, Grand Hyatt Tampa, and other culinary experience in Tarpon Springs, Tampa and West Palm Beach. Chef Foltz is a native Floridian with southern roots, and has been a chef mentor for the Florida State Prostart Champion Team. With degrees in Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry from Florida Culinary Institute, his work has been featured in Modern Bride Magazine, Florida Sportsman’s food column, SRQ Magazine and various other publications. At the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach, his current focus is using the freshest local products whenever possible, and maintaining his vision of supporting sustainable quality seafood.
